Like a protective harbour,
You are my refuge.
I make my way through the narrows,
Straight into your arms.
Protected by the high cliffs and steep mountain sides, You cover me.

A place of refreshing, repairing and mending,
You make me new.
Unbeknownst to the enemy,
I am safe inside the walls.
Come weary ones, tired and burdened,
Find rest in these calm waters.
The sheltered walls of grace tower over you;
Like days of old, a weight lifted from the wandering soul.
Imitations and sirens abound,
Journeyer! pay no heed!
Only One can be your safe harbour.
Only One can refresh you.
“Then, when you leave through the narrows into the vast expanse, you will not fear, for I go before, behind, and I am all around you.
The Safe Harbour.

Christian
“You go before me and follow me. You place your hand of blessing on my head.”
Psalms 139:5 NLT
I found this passage particularly comforting today
