Poetry in Emerg

Well, well…greetings my friend. We are back together once again.

Honestly I don’t miss you, and to be frank – I really don’t care; but here we are, in this tangled affair, yet again.

Yes, your wait times are miserable: Average 5 hours for Urgent and 9 for Non; this relationship is poisonous, like that of an ex-con.

With that said, your staff are pretty nice, and they’re doing their best; but the government needs to invest in health care more, rather than pushing the Left.

Electric vehicles seem nice, until you drive them in freezing cold; but the carbon tax increase on April 1st, a looming effect, will be a heavy reminder for us all.

A reminder that eggs just went up to $4.99, and one carton of milk is $4.89.

We’re all unified against paused tariffs, things that are currently not in existence yet, though as food prices soar, the carbon tax is still in effect.

So here I am writing poetry, next to my wife who has been here since 9; free health care is alright, if you have proper management in mind.

My ER blues continue, as I sit here and write; praying that our evening will soon finish, and we can finally take flight.

I take my hat off to the nurses, to the doctors understaffed – let’s hope for a Federal election soon, to put an end to this mess.

Christian
